I guess it's Spring time...
It must be Spring time here in Southern California because the tulips are growing. Big, honkin' tulips!
A retired Biology teacher in the city I live in decks his house out every Spring with tulips. The local newspaper always quotes him as saying that he plants over 2,000 bulbs every year. It didn't look like he had that many in his front yard, but it doesn't matter. It looks gorgeous no matter how many are there.
I've been meaning to go every year to see these tulips and finally went recently to see them. These things are HUGE-and very pretty. Seriously, I never knew that tulips could get so big!
I like Spring and the many colors it brings to the world-including the colors I saw in this person's front yard.
